Usually players think only of two things before playing in a Poker tournament, and that is the cost of the buy in and what they can win. However, there is a lot more to ponder, and the more thought you put in, the better off you will be able to play.

There are the satellite tourneys, those that serve as gateways to the bigger multi million dollar live event like the WSOP and WPT. All these Poker tournaments are unique, and they each require a different set of strategies and approaches. It is difficult enough to win in a tourney, but you will make it doubly hard if you go into one without knowing what kind of strategy to use.
